The scope of work for the multi-year contract at the BP-Castrol Plant located in Port Allen, LA was to inspect 100% of all ladders, handrails, stairs and platforms throughout the facility for OSHA compliance issues as well as creating the load capacity of each platform both inside and outside of the site.   The existing pile supported wooded decked dock needed to have quarterly inspections as it was constantly being damaged by the anchoring barges.  The project took approximately 3 years to complete, with the Firm issuing numerous reports.  For each platform, a load capacity placard was created and placed at the entrance of each platform to tell the workers the safe working loading conditions.
