Our team was hired to design a control station coming off of an existing Oxygen pipeline going into an existing plant facility. Image shows where we identified specific tie-in locations on an existing underground O2 line just outside of an existing concrete wall with the direction to take up as little footprint as possible. Client wanted the opportunity to control the O2 feeding this specific site. Design shows a full control station design with a bypass as well give the client a full range of possibilities and control.
Our team's design efforts were to meter the clarified water going to adjacent chemical facility. Client needed to install a stopple for future branch connections. We worked with local stopple company to use accurate dimensions and guideline for modeling and showing placement to make sure stopple equipment fit in the existing area to minimized modification efforts and down time. From there the design efforts were to design a metering station with ease of access from existing road and placement near existing pipe rack. Additional requirements were to make the stations footprint to be as minimal as possible.
