Erik Suskey

Erik Suskey, a driven leader with a diverse background spanning from his early military service and into the oil and gas and energy sector, brings over 24 years of combined experience in high-performance, safety-critical environments.  Erik served 10 plus years in the United States Navy, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, operational readiness, and technical proficiency. During his military career, he honed his leadership skills while managing complex systems, coordinating cross-functional teams, and executing mission-critical operations under demanding conditions.

Following his naval service, he transitioned into the oil and gas industry, where he has accumulated over 14 years of progressive experience across research and development, engineering, and terminal management.  His early work in R&D focused on evaluating emerging technologies and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.  Building on this technical expertise, he moved into engineering type roles, where he contributed to system design, process optimization, and project execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

As President of a large Terminal company in Louisiana, Erik has demonstrated strong operational leadership, overseeing facility operations, logistics coordination, and asset integrity.  He has a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing safety culture, and delivering reliable, cost-effective performance in complex industrial environments.  As President of ESSR Consulting, nothing less than the same is expected.
